Dom D'Agostino on Ketosis - the most googled diet of this year #140

This podcast is with the world's biggest expert in Ketosis - Dom D'Agostino. He's an absolute legend and I'm thrilled to be able to chat to him about so many important aspects of Keto, how to get into it, the benefits and the pitfalls and so on. Thanks Dom!

I've been in ketosis for many months. My reasons: Well not weight loss (although I've toned up - he says modestly), but for decreased inflammation, better digestion, improved skin and sharp thinking, And all that is working quite well. I'm really enjoying it, but it takes a month of feeling a little tired (they call it the Keto Flu) when you first get into it. At least that's what happened to me. Want more details? Check out today's podcast.

    Hey Tony
I don’t remember exactly what led me to you-maybe my search for info on brain entrainment after asking my inner guide for help w/my life-yeah think that was how I stumbled upon you.

I listen while driving and I have to say I’ve learned so much about so many different things. I’ve passed your pcast on to more than half a dozen people.

Been listening since October 2017. Been doing butter coffee with exogenous ketones, been on numerous supplements for years.

The main thing for me is detoxing from many years of Dr. prescribed opiates for injuries sustained as a fireman with SFFD in San Francisco.
Cut my dose in half last year and all goes well I’ll be done by end of this year.

I was fireman for 16 years and ran my Locksmith business for 30 years. Closed it end of 2016 because this type of detox requires all your energy. So your pcast has been very helpful.

I detoxed once before and couldn’t get off the couch, felt awful all the time and it didn’t stick.

Last week I walked every day and averaged 2.7 miles per day. Doing modified low carb w/butter, mct & exog ketones w/intermittent fast. Starting work with a Biohacker and getting 23 & me done. Didn’t know any of this prior to listening.

So thank you for doing what you do. You da man dude!
One day when all my ducks are lined up I think maybe I’ll be on your show cause I’ve got a story and I will succeed. You and your guests have been a major inspiration.

I’ll be in touch when the time is right.

    Thanks again

    Rock Crawford
