Gretchen Rubin on experiments in the pursuit of happiness and good habits #65
"Don't let books become the spinach of your life"
Just one of my favourite quotes from Gretchen Rubin in this week's Zestology podcast. By this she means don't only read worthy books/eat spinach because you feel obliged. Read and eat the good stuff.
Gretchen is a big name and an awesome guest for Zestology podcast. And books were quite a theme in this interview. She's the author of several blockbuster New York Times bestsellers. She has an enormous readership, both in print and online, and her books have sold more than two million copies worldwide, in more than thirty languages.
So I spoke to her on this podcast about upgrading some of our habits. Like:
Good habits help you to make better decisions, as it turns out. So listen to Gretchen help you upgrade your habits.

Bulletproof's Dave Asprey live in London #64
King of biohacking Dave Asprey was recently in the UK and we recorded a live Zestology podcast in front of a packed-out crowd in East London.
But exactly which supplements does the world's best known biohacker take? When I asked Dave this question, he pulled out a bag full of pills, described each one in great detail, and then chugged the lot. Find out exactly what's in his stack and what should be in yours by listening to the podcast here.
Also in this podcast we cover:

Discover the secrets of fat-burning with NYT bestselling author Abel James #63
Discover the secrets of fat-burning this week with one of the biggest podcasters in the health area - Abel James.
His sickeningly toned bod makes it onto his podcast image (see below). You'll hear us talking about this I can't blame him, if I looked like that I'm sure I'd whip my shirt off too.
His new book The Wild Diet has just made it onto the NYT best-seller list. However this podcast is not just about fat-burning.
We talk:
And loads more.

Longevity would be nice, right? Living longer and being super healthy to really enjoy that long life.
Today's Zestology podcast guest Daniel Reid knows all about how to do this. He's a bestselling author on the ancient practices of Taoism, with his book The Tao of Health, Sex and Longevity.
I loved this book, so I got in touch with Dan in Byron Bay, Australia and he stayed up late to come on Zestology. He's a colourful character with a huge amount of knowledge, and he's lived a full and fascinating life, as you'll hear.
I asked him to pick 5 rules for living a long and healthy life.
Follow these 5 rules and as you'll hear you might live to the age of 243.*

"Yoga Girl" and Instagrammer Rachel Brathen on life with no filter #61
How much more honest would you be if you lived life with no filters?
Today on Zestology: a story that involves travel, romance, meditation and yoga.
I interview Rachel Brathen, the New York Times best-selling author, motivational speaker, and international yoga sensation. Perhaps better recognized via her social media handle, “Yoga_Girl”.
Rachel has over 1.8 million followers on Instagram alone. Yeh, you read right - 1.8 million, basically a small country of insta followers. And on the app where filters are king, she is honest about her life in a no-filters way. (See what I did there?)
